Starting in March 2023, a tour in Italian cities called “Break the Wall” will begin, with which Can Yaman will raise public awareness of youth distress.

The Association’s goal is to raise awareness of the issue, provide young people and families with useful tools to get out of difficult situations, helping the modernization and functionality of national hospital facilities and encouraging young people to discuss and engage in dialogue.

Can Yaman will attend events organized with the major youth centers between the ages of 8 and 18 at each stage. He will be alongside their families, guardians, teachers and experts to help spread awareness and perseverance.

The dissemination of the project will not be limited to physical events, but supported by a social campaign capable of involving both the Association’s network and that of the actor Can Yaman with his audience. These are necessary tools to allow the campaign to perform at its best.

The Can Yaman for Children Association has chosen the Child Neuropsychiatry Department of the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome, founded by child neuropsychiatrist Giovanni Bollea between the 50s and 60s, as the first beneficiary of the tour.

With the support of the Policlinico Umberto I, the Association will undertake an information, support and fundraising campaign to implement infrastructural and modernization interventions in the Department, facilitating the conditions of the hosted children.

A heartfelt recognition goes above all to the management team, composed of the General Director of the Policlinico Umberto 1 Fabrizio d’Alba, the Rector of Sapienza Antonella Polimeni, the Health Director Alberto Deales and the Administrative Director Barbara Solinas.
